Adult Ministries

LIFE Groups

Life Groups, our small groups ministry, are designed for connecting with others at First CRC through fellowship and Bible study, meeting in homes or other locations. Discussions focus on questions about the next sermon coming up.

If you are interested in being part of a LIFE group, contact the church office and we can find a LIFE group that is a good fit for you.

 

 

Men’s Bible Studies

Come for coffee, donuts, and Bible study with other men.

  • When:  7:00 a.m. Saturdays (first and third Saturdays of the month) 
  • Where:  “Pat’s Place” (contact the church office for address)

 

Women’s Bible Studies

MOMS@1ST

Moms of all age and stages are welcome!  We use curriculum from MomCo (formerly MOPS International).  

  • When:  9:30 a.m. Tuesdays (every other week, beginning in September) 
  • Where:  The Loft
  • Nursery and Bible classes  are available through kindergarten age in the Education Building. Babies are always welcome to stay with their moms.

 

Daughters of Zion

All women are invited to join us in studying the Bible. 

Come and study with other women as we study Prayer: An Adventure with God. 

  • When:  10:00 a.m. Thursdays (every other week, beginning in September)
  • Where:  Education Building
 
Monday Morning Bible Study
All women are invited to join us as we study Where Do I Belong.  A study guide is used each day to review a small section of scripture.  In addition, one can refer to an app on the Proverbs 31 website to enhance understanding of the scripture covered. 
  • When: 10:00 a.m. Mondays (beginning in September)
  • Where: The Loft

Prayer Groups

Pray for America

All are welcome to join as we pray for America. 

  • When:  7:00 p.m. Mondays, once a month, watch announcements for dates
  • Where:  Prayer Room

                                

Pray for Missions

All are welcome to join us as we hear updates and pray for missions we support.

  • When:  10:00 a.m. Mondays, once a month, watch announcements for dates
  • Where:  Prayer Room

Adult Ministries

Young Adults, Young Families, Tired and Retired, 60+ Club, and Senior Ministry

Here at First, we have fellowship groups for singles, couples, families, “empty-nesters”, retired, and seniors to connect with each other. 

We also have inter-generational fellowship groups, such as Dinners 8’s and Families 8’s where couples or families gather for food and fellowship with each other.
