Text for Sermon: Proverbs 12:1, 15; 13:18; 15:22, 31-32; 19:20
Introduction.
Proverbs is about living life Coram Deo, before the face of God, in the presence of God.
Proverbs is about gaining wisdom through the fear of the Lord, through the love of the Lord.
Proverbs is about intentionally and practically applying God’s wisdom to our lives every day.
Proverbs is about playing the long game, not instant or immediate gratification, but a long obedience in the same direction, toward a glorious goal, toward eternity.
Proverbs is about getting wisdom. Whatever you get, get wisdom.
